Durham UK
Welcome to CoderDojo Durham UK!

CoderDojo Durham is a friendly place to meet and develop your coding and tech skills or learn something new. We run free informal sessions where young people from 7-17 (and kids of all ages) can come along and work on projects, develop new skills, participate in challenges, whatever you want. We are here to provide guidance, encouragement & support in a relaxed environment.

We are part of the world-wide CoderDojo community, which has presence in more than 100 countries all over the world and shares resources to help kids and teens realise that they can build a positive future through coding.

We use the Raspberry-Pi pathways as learning resources. The pathways cover a range of technologies including Scratch, Python, Unity, web design and physical computing.

When and where

CoderDojo Durham meets twice per month:

Every 1st Saturday of the month between 2pm - 4pm we meet at Bishop Auckland Town Hall.

Every 3rd Saturday of the month between 10am - 12pm we meet at Durham Clayport Library.

Attendance is free and you can just show up, though it helps with our planning if you register in advance (for Durham, for Bishop Auckland) through the central CoderDojo site. You do not need to bring your own computer if you don't want to, there are laptops available for everyone to use. If you are under 13, please bring a parent along.
